Our Mission
Our mission is to live as a diverse family of disciples on mission for Jesus. Our mission is an outworking of who we are as followers of Christ. While Mosaic Fellowship does have a strategic vision for effecting change, it starts with a general vision of how faith in Christ calls us as individuals to see our lives re-ordered around Christ, our brothers and sisters in Christ, and making His kingdom known in the world around us.
Our Vision
Our vision is to join Jesus in bringing shalom to the city, by creating beauty out of brokenness. Jesus is at work, and we are merely joining Him in the work that he is already doing in bringing shalom (all pervasive sense of faith and flourishing) to the city. The way we envision doing this, is by doing what God does: bringing beauty out of brokenness in all of its forms. Our vision is ultimately a vision for the kingdom of God manifesting itself in Highland Park, and the surrounding neighborhoods.
Our Strategy
Our strategy is to be disciples and make disciples in everyday life. Being a Christian today can easily be more about events on a calendar than a lifestyle. However, the bible is clear that for true followers of Christ, the gospel changes everything about who we are, what we do, and how we do it. That means that following Christ is a lifestyle. Followers of Christ are called his disciples, which means we seek to be like Jesus in all that they do. So, our strategy is really to be like Christ and to make disciples of him in our everyday life.
