FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
When are your services?
We currently gather at 10:00am. Our time of worship usually lasts about an hour.
Do you have two locations in Chattanooga?
No. There is a different church with a similar name to ours, located in a different part of the city, but we have no affiliation to that church.
What should I wear?
We believe that we worship a God who invites us to come-as-we-are. We do not need to make ourselves more spiritually presentable to him before he welcomes us with his grace. We want everyone to wear whatever makes them feel the most comfortable. Our pastor sometimes wears shirts with collars, and sometimes without. We often worship outside and if you drove by you would see people in shorts, t-shirts, or polos or button ups.
Do I need to bring anything?
No. However, when we meet indoors, we do recommend everyone above the age of 4 wear a mask. If you don’t have one or forget to bring one, we have a fresh supply of disposable ones you can use.
What is the service like?
Our normal worship service includes the reading of scripture, prayers, confession of sin, assurance of our forgiveness, preaching of God’s word, celebrating the Lord’s Supper, giving, and singing songs of praise.
What is the music like?
We have a blended worship style that includes re-tuned hymns, gospel, and contemporary songs. From service to service, song to song, you'll hear a variety of instruments, but the most important instrument is our voice, lifted in song to God. You can watch some of our previous services on our YouTube channel.
How do I get there?
Where should I park?
There is parking in the main lot next to the New Life building.
Where do I enter the building?
Please use the front doors of the building (facing E Main St).
Where do I go once inside the building?
As you enter, you'll see our welcome table and greeters on your left. We meet in the main sanctuary that's up the stairs and through the doors to the left from the welcome table.
Where do my kids go?
Your children are welcome to worship with you (even if they are squirmy and noisy), or they may be checked in to our childrens ministry, Mosaic Kids. Children ages 1 through 5th grade are asked to remain with families through the singing time until the sermon begins and then may be checked into Mosaic Kids. Check-in table is down the stairs next to the welcome table. Our childrens worship time provides opportunities for your kids to learn about Jesus in age-specific ways from trained ministry workers.
How do I contact the church and/or get plugged in?
We are glad you asked! We have a welcome table with friendly and curious people ready to chat. They also have information to help you get involved. You may also ask questions about getting involved by filling out our contact form or emailing us here.
How do I become a member?
We offer new member classes once a quarter. Check out more details here.
How do I learn more about a personal relationship with Jesus?
If the Lord is drawing you to himself, we are excited! We would love to get to know you, and hear about your spiritual journey. Join us at any of our events or reach out to us here.
