Discipleship

Everything the church does should be about discipleship, and we take that seriously. For Mosaic Fellowship, our worship service is the largest way that we offer discipleship to everyone inside and outside the church. The next largest gathering for discipleship is our men’s and women’s bible studies that meet monthly to study scripture, fellowship, and prayer together.

The church isn’t a building, but people. While the church does gather weekly for worship, it also scatters weekly for service. The following is a list of how our people are gathering and scattering to worship and serve Christ in the community:

Men’s Ministry

Each month we offer an opportunity for men anywhere in their faith journey to come take a step towards greater intimacy with one another and Jesus. This is a great time to make friends, learn the Bible, share about your life, and ask good questions. The men’s bible study meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month at Amani Ya Juu (420 S. Willow Street) at 6:30am. Bibles open at 6:40am with a hard stop at 7:30am. The men of Mosaic also host periodic bonfires, cookouts, service opportunities, and more. Take a look at our events page for updated info.

Women’s Ministry

Each month our women’s ministry seeks to offer an opportunity for women from all walks of life to wrestle with and learn more about the Bible in the context of relationship with each other. We do a women’s Bible study every 2nd Wednesday of the month @6:30pm (email womensministry@mosaicfellowship.church for location). We are currently making our way through the book of Ruth. Bible study is open to all, there is no preparation required, just show up! We also do social/fun events quarterly.

Student Discipleship

For our middle and high school students we offer a monthly opportunity to connect and grow with other students and their families.

Mosaic Kids Ministry

Children of all ages are welcome to worship with families during all parts of our service. However, we do offer Mosaic Kids as a separate ministry for ages 1-4 throughout the entire service. During this time, these children will be with a childcare worker engaged in play and safe activities until the lesson begins. We also offer Mosaic Kids for children ages 5-5th grade during the sermon portion of the service. This is a time of age appropriate bible study for kids. Our current curriculum for Mosaic Kids is ‘The Garden, the Curtain, and the Cross.’ All of our Mosaic Kids workers and volunteers have had background checks, and are trained to offer loving and tender care for children, and will shepherd your child to know Jesus in a personal way.
